Refund & Cancellation Policy

Rights and guarantees under EU consumer law and digital services regulation.

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy complies with:

  • Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights
  • Regulation (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services
  • Spanish General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users

It applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through Storiezon.

2. Nature of the Product (Digital Services)

Storiezon provides digital services and non-tangible digital goods, such as AI tools, content generation, and cloud-based functionalities.

Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has begun with the consumer’s consent.

3. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Rule)

Consumers normally have a 14-day withdrawal period for digital purchases.
However, the EU law states that this right does not apply if:

  • The service has already started, and
  • The consumer accepted the loss of withdrawal rights during checkout.

Because Storiezon services begin automatically after purchasing or subscribing, users waive the right of withdrawal upon activation.

4. Refund Policy

Refund requests may be granted only if:

  • The user did not access or use any part of the service after purchase.
  • There is a clear technical issue attributable to Storiezon.
  • Billing errors occurred (duplicate charge, incorrect plan, etc.).

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Used subscription periods
  • AI credits consumed
  • Mistaken purchases after the service has been used
  • User dissatisfaction from subjective preferences

5. Subscription Cancellation

Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled.
Users may cancel at any time from their account dashboard.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
No partial refunds for remaining time or unused credits.

6. Technical Problems or Service Outages

If Storiezon experiences outages or failures, we may offer:

  • Service extension
  • Credit compensation
  • Proportional refund (exceptional cases)

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Email: info@storiezon.com
  • Subject: “Refund Request – Storiezon”
  • Include: account email, purchase date, reason

Requests are reviewed within 5–10 business days.

8. Legal Framework

This policy is governed by:

  • Directive 2011/83/EU
  • Regulation (EU) 2019/770
  • Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA)
